Managed IT

Managed Cloud Services for Orange County Businesses

Managed cloud services means we set up, secure, back up and look after the cloud systems your office runs on: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and servers in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or our own North Blue Cloud. It's for Orange County practices and firms that want those systems run properly without hiring IT staff, including offices getting ready to retire an aging server.

The cloud still needs looking after

Accounts still need setting up right, data still needs backing up, and someone has to answer when something stops working. We look after the cloud services you already use, and help you move the rest when it makes sense.

What we handle in the cloud

Whichever cloud you use, and the parts of your setup that still live in the office.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Email, files, Teams and sharing, set up properly and protected with multi-factor authentication (MFA). We're a Microsoft Partner and a Google Cloud Partner.

Cloud servers

Servers in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services, or on North Blue Cloud, our own platform running in the datacenters we maintain presence in.

Moving off an office server

Planned moves to the cloud, scheduled so nobody loses a day of work.

Microsoft 365 for practices and firms

If your practice or firm runs on Microsoft 365, a few settings make most of the difference to how safe it is. These are the ones we check first.

MFA on every account

Every mailbox, admin accounts included, so a stolen password on its own gets nobody in.

Email encryption and filtering

Encryption for messages that carry patient or client details, and scam and phishing emails stopped before they reach anyone's inbox.

Backups kept outside Microsoft

Mail, files and user accounts backed up separately, because Microsoft doesn't keep deleted items forever. We test the restores.

Moves between accounts

Moving from one Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace account to another, or between the two, planned so mail, files and calendars arrive intact.

Our own cloud, when it's the better fit

Some software runs better on a dedicated server than on a public cloud account. For that, we maintain presence in 8 primary datacenters on three continents, with capacity available in 60+ more markets. The buildings belong to the datacenter operators. The hardware, the virtualization platform and the network inside them are ours, looked after by our own Data Center Operations team.

How a move to the cloud works

Plan

We look at what you have, decide together what belongs in the cloud and what doesn't, and set a timeline.

Move

We migrate email, files and apps, usually after hours, and test everything before your team starts using it.

Look after it

Once you're settled, we keep it secure, backed up and watched around the clock.

Not everything belongs in the cloud

Where we help most

Offices running Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace that want them set up securely and looked after, and offices thinking about retiring an aging server.

When we'll leave it where it is

We won't move something to the cloud just because it's the trend. If your software runs better on a server in your office, we'll tell you, and we'll leave it there.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a cloud service provider in Orange County?
Yes. We're based in Orange and manage cloud services for offices across Orange County. We're a Microsoft Partner and a Google Cloud Partner, we work in AWS, and we run North Blue Cloud on our own hardware in the datacenters where we maintain presence.
Do you manage Microsoft Azure?
Yes. We set up and look after Azure servers alongside Microsoft 365, with MFA, backups and monitoring, and we'll tell you if Azure is more than you need.
Should we move everything to the cloud?
Not always. Some software runs better on a server in your office, and some doesn't need to move at all. We'll go through what you use and tell you which parts would gain from moving.
Isn't our data already backed up in Microsoft 365?
Only partly. Microsoft keeps your data available, but deleted items and older versions don't stay forever. A separate backup means you can get them back.
Can our practice or tax software run in the cloud?
Often. Many EHRs and some tax programs are already offered as cloud services by the companies that make them. Other software may run on a hosted server your team reaches from anywhere, depending on the program and its license, so we check with the vendor and test it with your team before anything moves.
