Your servers and applications on infrastructure we run ourselves, in professional datacenters, looked after by the same team you call for everything else.
Infrastructure we control
We maintain presence in eight primary datacenters across three continents, with capacity available in more than sixty additional markets. The servers, virtualization platform and network inside them are ours, so when something needs attention, we fix it directly instead of filing a ticket with someone else. That work belongs to our own Data Center Operations team, based in Orange County.
Who does what
The datacenters provide the building: redundant power, cooling, carrier connections and round-the-clock physical security. We handle everything above that.
Servers and storage
Hardware we own, running North Blue Cloud, our own virtualization platform. Our team sizes it and maintains it.
Network and firewalls
Each client kept separate, behind firewalls, with secure connections in.
Updates and monitoring
Patching for the systems your data lives on, and monitoring around the clock. A hosted server going down is treated as critical: during business hours we aim to respond within 15 minutes and guarantee a response within the hour.
Backups and recovery
Backups and recovery plans. We test the restores, so you know they'll work when you need them.
When our infrastructure is the right home
Where it fits
Businesses running software that needs a dedicated server, Linux workloads where our Red Hat partnership helps, and anyone who wants their hosting looked after by the same team as the rest of their IT.
Not always the answer
If Microsoft, Google or Amazon's cloud suits what you run, we'll support you there instead. We'd rather recommend the right home for your systems than fill our own racks.
