5G Business Internet, as Backup or Main Line

Wireless internet from T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon: an automatic backup when your main line drops, or your main connection where wired options fall short.

What 5G business internet is

5G business internet uses the mobile networks of T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon to connect your office, through a small receiver placed where the signal is strongest. There's no digging and no cable to bring into the building, so it can be up and running much sooner than a wired line. It's used in two ways: as a failover line that takes over automatically when your main internet drops, and as the main connection where wired service is poor or not yet installed.

Good to know

Automatic failover

Your firewall watches the main line and switches to 5G by itself if it fails, then switches back when it recovers.

A separate path

A wireless backup doesn't share cables with your fiber or cable line, so a cut line in the street doesn't take out both.

Signal decides everything

Speed depends on the coverage at your building, so we check all three carriers before choosing one.

Quick to set up

No construction, which also makes it useful for new offices waiting on a wired install, and for temporary sites.

Who it suits, and who it doesn't

A good fit as a backup

Almost any office that can't afford to go offline. It's one of the simplest ways to keep working through an outage.

As a main line

Good where coverage is strong and wired options are poor. Where fiber is available, fiber usually makes the better main line.

How we help

You deal with us, and we deal with the provider.

Check your address

We look up what can actually serve your building, not just what the provider's map says.

Compare honestly

We put the options side by side and tell you which ones are worth paying for, and which aren't.

Order and install

We place the order, coordinate the install with the provider and your building, and set up your firewall to match.

Chase the provider

When the connection misbehaves, we open the ticket with the provider and push it through, so you're not stuck on hold.

Check what you can get at your address

Tell us where the office is and we'll look up which providers can actually serve the building, then get back to you with your options. No obligation.

Not sure this is the right fit? Compare it with the other connections we can set up. Send your address and we'll tell you which ones reach your building.

Frequently asked questions

Which carrier is best for 5G at our office?
It depends on the signal at your building, which can vary a lot from one address to the next. We compare T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon coverage at your location before recommending one.
How does automatic failover work?
Your firewall checks the main connection continuously. If it drops, traffic moves to the 5G line automatically, and it moves back once the main line recovers. A call in progress may drop at the moment it switches, but the office stays online.
Can 5G be our only internet?
It can, where the signal is strong and wired service is poor. Most offices are better off with a wired main line and 5G as the backup, but we'll tell you what makes sense at your address.
How do I find out if I can get it at my office?
Use the address form on this page. Send us your service address and we'll look up which providers can serve the building and get back to you with your options. There's no obligation.
