Frontier Dedicated Internet Access
A fiber connection reserved for your business alone, with the provider committing to its performance in a service level agreement.
What dedicated internet access means
With ordinary business internet, you share the provider's local network with your neighbors, so speeds can dip when everyone is busy. Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) is different: the bandwidth you pay for is reserved for you, all the time, in both directions. It comes with a service level agreement, where Frontier commits to uptime and repair times in writing, and usually with a block of static IP addresses for servers, phones and remote access.
Good to know
Bandwidth that's yours
No slowdowns when the neighborhood gets busy, and the same speed up as down.
Written commitments
A service level agreement sets out what Frontier promises on uptime and repairs, and what happens if they miss it.
Takes longer to install
Dedicated fiber often needs construction to bring fiber into the building, so plan ahead. We'll tell you what to expect for your address.
Costs more than broadband
You're paying for reserved capacity and stronger commitments. For many offices it's worth it; for some it isn't, and we'll say which you are.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't
A good fit
Practices and firms where the internet going down stops the business: hosted phone systems, cloud EHR or tax software, multiple offices linked together, or servers that others connect to.
Probably more than you need
A small office using email and web apps is usually well served by business fiber plus a backup line, for a lot less money.
How we help
You deal with us, and we deal with the provider.
Check your address
We look up what can actually serve your building, not just what the provider's map says.
Compare honestly
We put the options side by side and tell you which ones are worth paying for, and which aren't.
Order and install
We place the order, coordinate the install with the provider and your building, and set up your firewall to match.
Chase the provider
When the connection misbehaves, we open the ticket with the provider and push it through, so you're not stuck on hold.
Check what you can get at your address
Tell us where the office is and we'll look up which providers can actually serve the building, then get back to you with your options. No obligation.
Other internet options
Not sure this is the right fit? Compare it with the other connections we can set up. Send your address and we'll tell you which ones reach your building.
