Spectrum Business Cable Internet
Cable internet that reaches a lot of Southern California, good value as a main line for smaller offices or as a backup alongside fiber.
What Spectrum cable internet is
Spectrum Business Internet runs over the same coaxial cable network that carries cable TV. It's available in a lot of buildings that don't have fiber yet, and it can deliver fast download speeds. The trade-off is upload: on cable, upload speeds are much lower than download, and the network is shared with other customers nearby, so performance can vary at busy times.
Good to know
Widely available
Many offices that can't get fiber can get Spectrum cable.
Downloads beat uploads
Fine for browsing, email and most cloud apps; it can struggle with large backups, many video calls at once or sending big files.
Static IP addresses
Available on business plans, for phone systems, cameras or remote access that need a fixed address.
A strong backup
Paired with fiber from a different provider, cable makes a sensible second line, because the two run on separate networks.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't
A good fit
Smaller offices with everyday internet needs, and offices that want an affordable second line to back up fiber.
Probably not the best choice
Offices that upload a lot, run many video calls at once or depend on hosted phones all day may be better served by fiber, with cable as the backup.
How we help
You deal with us, and we deal with the provider.
Check your address
We look up what can actually serve your building, not just what the provider's map says.
Compare honestly
We put the options side by side and tell you which ones are worth paying for, and which aren't.
Order and install
We place the order, coordinate the install with the provider and your building, and set up your firewall to match.
Chase the provider
When the connection misbehaves, we open the ticket with the provider and push it through, so you're not stuck on hold.
Check what you can get at your address
Tell us where the office is and we'll look up which providers can actually serve the building, then get back to you with your options. No obligation.
Other internet options
Not sure this is the right fit? Compare it with the other connections we can set up. Send your address and we'll tell you which ones reach your building.
